May Pilgrimage to the Shrine 2023
“Blessed are you who believed!” (Lk 1,45)

Sr Mary Lisette on wheels
Sister Mary Lisette is hitting the road with her new rig. She can be seen flying up the road and around the shrine on her e-bike, towing her trailer of goodies.
We will soon be calling her Sr Mary Poppins!!! Keep a look out for our daring Sr Mary Lisette (Poppins).

Reflection on our way in Lent
Sister Lisette shared the great mercy Our Lady had. Especially when Jesus, her son was crucified.
Our Mother Thrice Admirable leads us by example in living merciful lives.

Schoenstatt Shrine – 30 Year Anniversary
It has been 30 years since the blessing of the Schoenstatt Shrine in Mount Richon.
To commemorate the Anniversary, Perth Auxiliary Bishop Don Sproxton celebrated an outdoor Mass followed by fellowship.
The WA Schoenstatt Shrine is an exact replica of the original Schoenstatt Shrine in Germany, where the Schoenstatt Movement began more than 100 years ago.

Schoenstatt Family Retreat Weekend in WA – Witness, Mission and Prayer
A great opportunity was taken for a Family Retreat Weekend, from 25th – 27th September, at the Vincentian Retreat Centre, in Karrakup, Western Australia (15 minutes away from our Shrine at Mt Richon).
The Retreat was attended by 17 adults and 2 children, with several day trippers coming on different days to join in.
Our theme for the weekend was “Witness, Mission and Prayer”.
Sr M Elizabeth joined us for two input sessions via zoom, and Ida Stokes and Philomena Theseira presented two other sessions.
We also had Fr Joseph Rathnaraj say Mass for us on Sunday afternoon, and a visit to our Shrine for hymns to our MTA and some prayers, as well as making a miniature Shrine to take home.
Our weekend also included a Quiz Night and a Games night, and lots of food and fellowship.  Everyone had a great time as well as learning a lot from our theme topics.
One of the new couple participants said to the organisers,
“Thank you for working so hard to give us such an enlightening experience.  We enjoyed ourselves and came home feeling energised.”
